GORDON SALAHOR – Chief Executive Officer
Prior to founding Wolf, Gordon was a founder and principal of Mistral Energy Inc., VP of Commercial Operations for Taylor Gas Liquids Ltd., the Manager and Administrator of Taylor NGL Limited Partnership. He also held positions with Ernst & Young in their gas industry management consulting practice and various engineering positions with Dow Chemical Canada.
Gordon has a deep understanding of the North American midstream and natural gas liquids environments and develops innovative solutions to address customer’s needs with creative commercial arrangements to drive value. Gordon has direct experience with overseeing production planning, buying and selling of natural gas, operations and corporate development, regulatory affairs and investor relations.
Gordon holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Alberta (1982) and an MBA also from the University of Alberta (1991). He holds a professional engineering designation in the province of Alberta.
BOB PRITCHARD – President
Prior to founding Wolf, Bob was a founder and principal of Mistral Energy Inc. where he helped the company take its assets from concept to their ultimate sale to a publicly traded entity. Bob has also held the following positions: Taylor Gas Liquids Ltd. President and CEO, Solex Energy VP Business Development, and Amoco Canada where he oversaw one of the largest sour gas processing facilities in Alberta.
Over his 15 year career with Amoco, Bob held several management positions in Calgary and various Engineering Group Supervisor assignments in operations and reservoir engineering. Bob has also held positions at Amoco's research facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma and worked in the Edmonton and Elk Point, Alberta field offices with a focus on heavy oil production and reservoir engineering.
Bob holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queens University (1980) and, holds a professional engineering designation in the province of Alberta.
DAVID SCHMUNK – Chief Operating Officer
Prior to founding Wolf, David was founder, principal and, COO of Mistral Energy Inc. David has also held positions with Taylor NGL Limited Partnership (COO) and, TransCanada Pipelines, where he served as VP Operations in addition to other engineering roles involved in the design, construction, commissioning and
operation of gas plants in Western Canada.
David has overseen multi-million dollar pipeline and gas plant expansions and has been responsible for the execution of all aspects of regulatory, public consultation, engineering, operations, and administration for the projects.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan (1982) and, holds a professional engineering designation in the province of Alberta.
WARREN PEERS – Chief Financial Officer
Prior to founding Wolf, Warren was Finance Manager of Mistral Energy Inc., Controller for Sea NG Corporation, and held domestic and international senior finance and accounting manager positions with Solex Development Corp., Apache Canada, and Fletcher Challenge Energy.
Warren has been responsible for and, has insight into, all aspects of financial management, domestic and international activities, internal and external reporting, compliance and a long history of growing entities within the midstream sector. His work is consistently approached with the customer in mind.
Warren holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary (1991) along with a Certified Management Accountant designation in the province of Alberta.
KEN TEMPLE – Executive Vice President
Prior to founding Wolf, Ken held the following positions: Mistral Energy Inc., VP Major Projects, AltaGas, Manager of Extraction Engineering, Taylor Gas Liquids Ltd., Sr. Development Engineer, BP, Amoco Canada and, Dome Petroleum.
Ken has over 30 years of experience with new project development, construction, day-to-day operations, engineering, and transitional support. At Wolf, Ken is responsible for facility engineering and design.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta (1984) as well as a professional engineering designation in the province of Alberta.
BRAD MATTSON – Senior Vice President Finance
Prior to joining Wolf in 2015, Brad held numerous positions with AltaGas including, Divisional VP Commercial Operations – Gas Division, Divisional VP and Controller – Gas Division and, VP and Corporate Controller. Prior to AltaGas, Brad was CFO for Taylor Gas Liquids Ltd. He also held a series of positions with Fluor Corporation covering project management and controls, marketing, finance, procurement and contracts.
Brad has more than 20 years of experience in risk management, capital markets, debt and equity financing, and
major system integration. At Wolf Brad is responsible for capital market activities and new investment project management.
Brad holds an MBA from Queen’s University (1995) and his Bachelor of Management, Accounting from the University of Lethbridge (1991).
ERIC SZMURLO – Vice President Business Development
Prior to joining Wolf in 2016, Eric worked for the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board where he held the position of Principal, Infrastructure Investments. Eric also previously worked in the Energy Investment Banking group at RBC Capital Markets in Calgary and London, UK.
Eric holds an MBA from the University of Chicago (2009) and a BA, Economics from Queen’s University (2004). He is also a CFA Charterholder.
AARNOUD VAN WEELDEREN – Executive Vice President Business & Commercial Development
Prior to joining Wolf, he had founded River Bench Partners Ltd., an investor in the upstream and midstream sector. Aarnoud was previously President (Canada) and Head of Crude Oil Structuring (North America) at Mercuria Energy Group, Managing Director with J.P.Morgan (Commodities, Physical Oil Desk), and Vice President with Goldman Sachs (Commodities, IMD).
Aarnoud has over 20 years of experience as a physical and financial structurer/trader within the physical energy marketing and financial services industries, working with customers (producers, midstream, refiners) to manage physical commodity supply and logistics across storage facilities, pipelines, railways, and export terminals in North America.
Aarnoud holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary (1995), where he has since served on the Haskayne School's Management Advisory Council and the Haskayne Founders' Circle.
